Land Rover LR3 and Porsche Boxster

We here at WheelsTV are really pumped up about having all of our most recent programming on the new Google Video. Also, check out all of our new links. If you are a real car guy or girl, than you'll love reading everyday updates on what is going on in the automotive world. These blogs and other websites will make sure you're always in the loop. And of course, we have two brand new shows on their way.
WheelsTV has some more great news. After starting up this blog, we have decided to include more of our staff in the blog. So, in the coming weeks and months, look fo our staff to be posting their own entries to keep you more informed about the inner workings of our company.

The first of which is a Top 200 report on the 2005 Land Rover LR3. The LR3 was designed as the replacement for the Land Rover Discovery, which had been showing its age. This new Land Rover is built on an all-new platform, soon to be shared with the Range Rover Sport. The LR3 is offered with 2 different engines; a 4.0L V6 sourced from Ford putting out 216hp or a 4.4L 300hp V8 shared with Jaguar. Land Rover has become a very venerable nameplate because of its rich history in building some of the most off-road capable vehicles. This stigma has made it more difficult for Land Rover to progress in becoming a more luxurious brand. But with the brand new LR3, Land Rover has done a commendable job. In the LR3 SE we drove, the interior is swathed in leather on every seat, comes with a standard nav system, and a 9-speaker 300 watt Harmon Kardon 6-CD stereo system. The LR3 also a very safe SUV with standard safety features such as active anti-roll technology, head curtain airbags, and traction control. Porsche. It is a name that conjures images of screaming around Le Mans and the Nurburgring; of flying around tight empty mountain bends like you are Sterling Moss. In 1997, Porsche engineers unveiled arguably one of their greatest automobiles ever; the Boxster. For those who had aspired to own a Porsche but the price was a little out of reach, the Boxster made the driving pleasure of a Porsche more accessible. With obvious styling cues taken from the famed 550 Spyder as well as its mid-engine layout, this car rang true with the Porsche faithful. The newest Boxster S boasts a 3.2L (280 hp) flat-sixe. The Boxster S we drove scooted to 60mph in 5.2 seconds and topped out a 166mph with the 6-speed manual Also among the changes include an updated exterior with new headlights, larger front and side air intakes, and new door sills.
