Hey WheelsTV enthusiasts. I thought I'd bring you a collection of awesome videos relating to cars this time; everything from drifting to the most bare bones vehicles ever seen.

Are you won of those people who loves to go every weekend to your local track and flog your car to it's limits? Than have I found the car for you. The company is based in the UK called Ariel (visit web site) and they make one of the rawest, down to earth vehicles ever created. While the Atom does have four wheels and an engine and transmission, but that is where the similarities end. When you walk up to the Atom, you see a bare steel tube frame and an engine mounted directly behind the driver to get the full effect of racing.

When you enter the Atom, it feels more like a Le Mans prototype than a street legal car. There are 2 seats each covered in tight cloth and 5-point race harnesses. One of the best parts of the Atom is the lack of anything resembling a creature comfort. While running around a road course, one can see the suspension in the front wheels working, and you can see exactly where the wheels are going, making this the perfect apex carver.

What takes your breath away (literally) is the raw speed this car can achieve and sustain. Most commonly, the Atom is equipped with the 2.0L Honda I-4 putting out 220bhp with a 8600 rpm fuel cutoff. Feeding this power to the rear wheels is a 6-speed close ratio manual gearbox making the acceleration (2.9 sec.) truly painful. You get going so fast so quickly, your face feels like it's going to rip off.

I also found the most incredible video of some of the most exotic vehicles doing some of the craziest drifting on closed racecourses that you've ever seen. In this video, you will see Lambo's, Ferrari's, Bimmer's, and Porsche's running at the most insane slip angles you've ever seen; even in the wet! You have to see this.


As a final note, if you're interested in buying a new house in England, check this place out. But tread carefully, it does come with strings attached. Or is that a Ferrari attached?? Buy this guy's house and you get his mint Ferrari 355 F1 coupe!!!
